About the tube
A new generation of the original beamed KT77 of yesteryear. JJ have worked hard in trying to re-produce the classic tone of the original KT77 tubes.
What about the tone?
We found these tubes produced a tight and articulate sound. Mainly similar in sound to the JJ E34L except with a touch more bottom end thump and a touch brighter. A great tube worth a try if you want to replace your existing EL34's with something a bit different. The tube is a direct drop in replacement for the standard EL34 positions. We found this tube great for getting a sound closer to the 6l6 sound in an EL34 amp.
